Building a Sustainable Future Through Youth Eco-Preneurship and Community Engagement

The Green Action Summit aims to bring together over 300 youth from diverse backgrounds with the aim to amplify the voices of emerging Green Action Leaders and serve as a catalyst for collective action towards sustainable development.
Through keynote speeches, project presentations, and networking opportunities, the Summit will inspire collaboration, foster dialogue, and mobilize resources to address climate change and promote sustainable practices.

The Summit Objectives

The main objective of this summit is to showcase the work of the cohort in the Green Action Project to the public. Specifically, the summit aims to:

Showcase Green Action Project Outcomes

The summit aims to showcase the outcomes and achievements of the Green Action Project cohort, highlighting their eco-entrepreneurial projects and environmental solutions to the public.

Raise awareness of eco-entrepreneurship

By featuring the cohort's projects, the summit seeks to raise awareness about eco-entrepreneurship and its positive impact on both the environment and the economy.

Foster networking opportunities

The summit will provide a platform for participants to network with other stakeholders in the eco-entrepreneurial field, facilitating collaboration and the exchange of ideas for future initiatives.

Inspire youth engagement

Through the success stories and experiences shared at the summit, the goal is to inspire more young people to engage in eco-entrepreneurship and take action towards environmental sustainability.

Encourage replication and scaling

By sharing successful eco-entrepreneurial models and strategies, the summit aims to encourage the replication and scaling of impactful initiatives across different communities and regions.

Promote partnerships

The summit will also serve as an opportunity to promote partnerships between participants, organizations, and institutions committed to supporting eco-entrepreneurship and sustainable development efforts.

The Green Action Summit is a platform for showcasing innovative ideas and achievements of young ecopreneurs and Green Action Leaders, amplifying their voices and mobilizing collective action towards sustainable development. It's a culmination of the Green Action Project, is an initiative aimed at empowering 30 young Ghanaians to become eco-entrepreneurs and environmental leaders through targeted training, mentorship, and support to establish green businesses and lead climate action in their communities.

The summit will be held on November 14th, 2024, in Accra, Ghana.

The summit will cover six thematic areas: Sustainable Energy, Eco-Entrepreneurship, Environmental Conservation, Water and Sanitation, Sustainable Agriculture, and Waste Management.

You can participate by registering to attend, submitting an article or project, or applying to be a speaker or sponsor.

The deadline for submissions is October 31, 2024.
