KOBBY PRAIRIE, born Ernest Kwabena Opare Owusu, is a distinguished Ghanaian change-maker, strategic communicator, and collaborative leader with a diverse skill set spanning both the corporate and arts industries. He has successfully founded and activated three thriving companies, and guided the activations of various impact-driven initiatives in Ghana, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit, impact-oriented and strategic acumen. Ernest has an admirable and effective innate skill for handling and curbing destructive arguments and feuds in both formal and informal settings by the use of strategic talks. His diplomatic abilities are common knowledge to the corporate leaders and traditional rulers he works with. In the corporate realm, Ernest serves as a Business Management Consultant and Strategic Communications personnel to individual brands and outfits. His expertise in project activation strategies and communication has positioned him as a trusted advisor and thought leader. In the arts and showbiz sector, Kobby plays a pivotal role as an advisor to aspiring musicians. He plays various instruments, including the piano. He is also a passionate advocate for youth empowerment, leveraging his influence to inspire and guide the next generation. As a public speaker, Kobby Prairie wears different caps depending on the settings; speaking to customers on behalf of corporate clients, Speaking to audiences as a conference speaker, or speaking to foreign entities, including investors, as a representative of Paramount traditional rulers and Chiefs. His communication tactics, he says, is not centered on merely passing on messages with the appropriate timing, but also eliminating irrelevant 'noise' to ensure a useful feedback is received. Notably, from 2017 to 2022, Ernest served as the Strategic Communications Assistant to Dr. Thomas Mensah, the world- renowned inventor of fiber optics. In this role, he managed Dr. Mensah’s corporate correspondences and engagements in Ghana, further demonstrating his capacity for high-level communication and strategic planning. Ernest’s multifaceted expertise and dynamic approach continue to inspire and empower individuals across various fields, making him an inspirational force in both the corporate and creative landscapes.
